Worry on Tax Deduction

One day during this year I got my salary after tax deduction which was a huge amount for me according to my salary. I was very much worried and thinking how I will manage this month and it should not be with me.

I told this to my younger brother who is working in Indian Navy (Government Job). He told me not to worry about that. But still I was sad and talked with him again and again on this topic.

After that he said me one sentence which made me very think over it deeply and after that I have no worry to give Tax as much it can be.

He said me very politely/sadly "Bro, from where we will get salary if you will not deposit tax."

Than I at once replied that Govt. will pay that than he asked “How?”. Than I think into it that they are not doing any productive work which can give income to govt. They just make us safe. I know all things earlier too but his words make me very easy on that.

I just write this as his words may remember you what Indian forces are doing for us. And we should pay our part of tax happily for our Country because we can do this only for it else sitting in offices.

Compare Government Job and Private Sector

As I am from second class family, my family always prefers Government job to join. In my early days of my career I also tried but due to lot of reasons I realize that this is not my field. As I was not very brilliant or bright student so in case of failure in getting Government job I was afraid of my career get ruined. So I move towards private sector having lot of scope.

After around 4 years of experience in IT sector I got offer from one of Government department to join on same job I was working, but on extensible contract of 6 months. I found myself unable to decide which will be better and which should I join.

Below are some points which always strike in my mind.

Private Sector

• High Technical growth
• Personality and skills development
• High Financial Growth
• Working environment keeps energy to work hard
• Give confidence to work and get achievements
• Updated to current trends and technologies
  

Government Sector

• Quite Safe and long lasting
• Easy working environment
• Limited learning and skills improvement
• Politics in department for growth
• Less working hours as compare to private industry
  

But finally I resigned from my current job to join Government Sector to see what is there which can be better too which I don’t know.
